Day Two Notes

SECOND DAY OF ALL ABILITIES DRAMA CAMP NOTES
June 17, 2014

*On our second day of camp, the campers learned what aspect of the play they are a part of. The actors picked parts and started learning their lines. The writers started writing the ending of the play. The musicians started learning the songs in the play. The artists worked hard on starting the scenery and costumes for the play. The dancers starting learning their dances.

*Each day we are also learning about how to celebrate one another’s differences. We are learning what this quote means: “There is only one way to look at things until someone show us how to look a them with different eyes” by Pablo Picasso
Today we talked specifically about visual differences.

*Thanks for sending your camper with a snack and drink. Due to some peanut allergies some of our campers have, we ask that your snacks be peanut free. The campers can put their snack bags in the hallway before they go to their homerooms.

*Puppies are coming to camp tomorrow and we will have an optional activity where campers can pet them! This will be a great way for our campers to interact with each other, getting to know one another better. If your camper has any pet allergies or has an aversion to dogs, please let us know and we will make sure to not have them go to the puppy room.

*Please check out our facebook page and share and like our page!! We have 251 likes already and would love to get too 300 by the end of the week!!
