AADC 2016 Day One.

               FIRST DAY OF ALL ABILITIES DRAMA CAMP NOTES

Monday June 13, 2016

**First of all- THANK YOU for sharing your camper with us this week!! We are so excited about the fun we will have this week, working together and learning from one another!!!!

**Each day we will send home camp notes- to let you know what we did that day, to give any reminders, and any new announcements. We will send these via email too. If you are not receiving the emails, please let us know. We might have an incorrect email.

** We will be posting all of our fun times together on our Facebook page and blog and end of the week slideshow. By signing the medical/ photographing release you have given permission for this. However, if things have changed please let us know if you would not like your camper's picture used on Facebook  or blog or for our advertisement of our camp or end of the week slideshow. 

**On our first day of camp, we first got to start meeting new friends and learning one another’s gifts and talents. Each camper went to four different workshops- art, dancing, acting, & singing.

*If your camper does end up an actor/actress, we will be sending home lines to practice tomorrow.

*Thanks for sending your camper with a snack and drink. Due to some peanut allergies some of our campers have, we ask that your snacks be peanut free.

*We have some special activities we have in the mix for the week.

Puppies that are hyperoallergenic will be coming to visit us either Wednesday or Thursday. This is a great therapeutic, bonding, calming activity for all campers. If your camper has any allergies or anxiety about dogs please let us know ahead of time.

June 2016 AADC

We are getting closer to CAMP TIME!  Really pumped to see what this year's session will bring! Friends to meet and cool stuff to learn!  Families who might have listed any kind of accommodations needed will be contacted in the next two weeks for more info.

VOLUNTEERS- reminder about our training on June 9th, at the Jessamine Early Learning Village, from 5-6pm, refreshments provided.

FAMILIES- Join us on June 9th, at the Jessamine Early Learning Village, from 6-7pm for our Meet n Greet! This will give you a chance to check out the new facilities, meet our volunteers, and ask any questions you might have about his year's program.

Announcing AADC for 2016!!!!!

When: June 13th to June, 17th, 2016

Time: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.        

Where: Jessamine Early Learning Village 851 Wilmore Road, Nicholasville, KY 40356   **NOTICE VENUE CHANGE****

Price: Early Bird Registration- Register before May 9th:

              1 camper $75, 2 siblings $100, 3 siblings $125

              Late Registration-from May 10th to June 6th:

              1 camper $90, 2 siblings $115, 3 siblings $140

*Includes A.A.D.C. t-shirt     

*Scholarships available.  Inquire if interested.

*We will have a snack time. Each camper will need to bring his/her own snack.

What: Campers with and without disabilities, ages 5 and up, work together for a week to put on a musical play.  This year the play will be revolving around SUPER HEROES, promoting the theme of inclusion.  Children get to choose what aspect of the play they would like to contribute to - writing, scenery, acting, dancing or singing.  Please visit our Facebook page and our blog:
